My Girl is growing up!
It only last for a few seconds, but Haylee is sitting. She was able to balance herself for a few seconds several times today. I can't believe it, she is growing up too fast!

My sweet angel! I love this picture.

The newest member of the Tigri clan.....
Last night when we were getting ready for bed, the dog started barking. Chris went to go check it out and found a frog clinging to our sliding glass door. We decided to try to catch it and keep it as a pet for Tyler.
After the frog was in the house we realized we knew nothing about caring for a frog. It was late, but we knew we need help, so I texted Sarah for some help. Luckily she was awake and guided us through what to do to keep him alive for the night. (Thank you Sarah!)
When Tyler woke up we showed him the frog, and told him he got to pick a name for him. This morning his choices were cricket (hmmm?,) Frog (very creative,) and ribbit (yep, that's my boy!)
So we will see what the final decision is when he gets home from daycare.
I ran to petco and picked up a few things to make our new pet happy. I have no idea where he is right now, I think he is hiding under the water bowl! As long as he stays in the tank I am happy!

Haylee figured it out!
Haylee has figured out what rolling is all about, and our lives our will never be the same. The other day Haylee rolled from her stomach to her back for the first time, but she has now figured out how to use it to her advantage. The other day I left her on her blanket to check on Tyler, when I came back she was gone, well she not gone, she was just under the table. I am so happy for our little girl, but I am sad that she is growing up so fast.

Milestones and Yummy Food
Our Haylee has had quite the week. She is now officially rolling over both ways. She is very happy with her new found skill, and she likes to roll over and smile.
Haylee has started eating rice cereal. She likes to open her mouth and eat off the spoon, but most if it drips out of her mouth. She Will get it one of these days.

Tyler has a new favorite food....Sushi. He loves using his chopsticks. Last night he finished 4 pieces of a California roll, we were very impressed!

Haylee's 4 month stats

Today was Haylee's 4 month appointment. She was all smiles as Dr. Easter examined her. She now weighs 13lbs even. She is in the 31st percentile for weight. (at 2 months she was in the 43rd percentile.) She is 25 1/2 inches, the 92nd percentile. (at 2 months she was 83rd percentile.) Bottom line is she is long and skinny, just like her brother.
Haylee spits up A Lot! After most feeding she will loose at least 2 oz. The doctor thinks that she is suffering from a mild case of reflux, and we will be starting rice cereal now. Normally our doctor does not like babies to start solids until 6 months, but he thinks this may be a way to get her to gain some weight, and keep food down.
She is very healthy and active. The doctor expects her to be rolling over and sitting up with in the next month. Haylee had her shots and did great. She cried for about 2 minutes. She is currently running a very mild fever, but she seems to be pretty content. I think that is it for my update, we are very happy to have a healthy, happy baby!

A fun day at the zoo!
We spent Saturday morning at the Oakland Zoo with the Perry's. Tyler had a wonderful time playing with Aiden. I think that we all enjoyed getting out and enjoying the day.
Tyler and Aiden enjoyed watching the Lion. This is the most Tyler has ever seen the lions do. Most of the time the lion is sleeping barely in view.
After feeding time the elephant came over for a little drink. Tyler's favorite animal at the zoo is the elephant. We spent a lot of time watching them.
Here is Tyler taking a rare brake in the stroller. For the most part he walked with daddy.
We arrived at 10am when the Zoo was opening. All the animals were really active. The Lion was taking a little stroll.

Haylee is 4 months!! Can you believe it?

It is very hard for me to believe, but my beautiful baby girl is 4 months old. She is a very happy little girl. She is very active, yet most of the time she is content just going with the flow. She has a couple of favorite toys, her cow and Sophie the giraffe. She is loving the jumperoo, and most of the time loves to be with Tyler. She loves to laugh, and is working on sitting. She is a great sleeper, and a blessing in out lives. Her 4 month appointment is next week. I will update everyone with her stats then. My guess is she is about 13lbs, and 24 inchs. We will see how close I am!

Since I had both kids today, I decided to try to get some cute pictures of the kids together. Tyler has not exactly been that cooperative lately. Well today went GREAT. Not only did I get great pictures of Haylee, I got wonderful pictures of them together, and of Tyler alone. It was a very productive day.

Random Pictures
This Week has been pretty crazy around here!
Haylee had her first cold, but it didn't seem to bother her too much. She is eating like a champ. She is now eating 6oz every 4hrs. She is still on the small side, and I can't wait for her 4 month appointment next week.
Tyler got the stomach flu this wee and he was pretty miserable. He got it from Donna and Jen. After 4 days, he is finally back to his old self.
I took care of both sick kids, and guess what happened. I got Haylee's cold. I guess I prefer the cold over the stomach flu. Chris is working hard as usual.

These pictures were taken of Haylee this morning. Do you think she can breath? I guess I really am a "second time mom," because it this had been Tyler I would have jumped up to make sure he was ok. I just left Haylee alone!
